Why do so many intelligent people disregard simple reason and logic? One would think that well educated, reasonable people should be moved by logic. That would be true if logic were the only thing upon which people operate. But most people don’t operate predominantly out of logic. They operate out of emotion and self interest, which can overpower clear thinking. Listen to my thoughts about why it’s easy to disregard logic.
