My 3 still devout Catholic stepdaughters cut their Dad, me, and their step siblings off for reasons they refuse to discuss— even in offered family therapy. To me, it doesn’t compute. How can you claim Christianity if you’re refusing forgiveness or basic human decency towards your (disabled) parent.

So true. Even though you don’t discuss politics or religion with them you get ‘ghosted’ ‘stonewalled’ phone calls are not answered because you think differently from your kids and they don’t need you anymore.

My son moved away last May 2022. I brought this to the Lord in Adoration and He spoke to my heart. “He does not belong to you. Surrender him and you will have peace in your heart.” I have peace. I still love him. I miss Daniel but I believe God is in control. Thank you Lord. Amen
