He knows if they want to be there or not. I think the more progressive the church gets (read, the Pope) the less likely people will return. We are past Catholics and years ago we started going to a Bible based church. No bells and whistles, very basic and we NEVER miss because we WANT to be there.

Sunday Mass participation should remain mandatory. I miss the Blue Laws. We seem to have lost our sense of reverence since businesses began opening on Sunday.
